Beneath Thy Beauty Lies Sorrow

                                by Ginger LeBeouf

Oh, by why should this darkness falleth upon me?

That it may touch my brow, that it may stroke my fair cheek

That every breath I withstand may be shadowed by this dark fate

That thine eyes look with remorse and pity upon me

So that the sun may hide amongst the stars of night

Come hither, so that I may whisper what sorrows have come

So that I may explain to thee why dreams are but fantasy

For a dream of love hath gone afar and shall stay abroad

Instead of in thy breast where the heart beats soulfully

Oh, let thy rains come that they may wash away all memory

Oh, let thy sky mourn that it may take the place of luminous anger

Oh, let thy sighs be heard that they may abolish thunderous disaster

And let thine eyes look on with adoration as the moon so tearfully cries
