The Aftermath

A poem by Blaine Tezim

In the end, what's left..
An entire globe of nothing..
When the earth is on fire..
And everyone is running..
Killing one another..
And flaming bodies fall tumbling..
Exposed is the earths core..
As volcanoes erupt..
And multen lava graces the floor..
The entire earth is lit up..
And my mind is finally made up..
That I'm not going out like this..
As I'm summoned to the Abyss..
The sun is burning out..
As I fall to my knees..
My time has run out..
So before your life fades..
Time is up..
And your conjured in the shade..
Look ahead..
And choose the correct path..
Because when the sun falls down..
Theres no turning around..
Or avoiding, the aftermath..
